Engagement Principles

  • Every engagement begins with a written Standard Mandate Letter.
  • Mutual confidentiality and non-circumvention apply on every engagement.
  • We disclose conflicts of interest in writing before engaging.
  • All fees are documented. We do not work on contingent or undocumented terms.
  • Governing law: Nigeria for NG-domiciled deals. English law for cross-border.
  • Arbitration: the Lagos Court of Arbitration, or the LCIA in London.
  • Minimum engagement value: USD 25,000 in total fees.
  • The Chairman signs off on every transaction above USD 5M.
